RDH RED CLOUD JUNE 2023

RDH RED CLOUD is the son of RDH Kawliga and RDH Blondie and long as a freight train. Getting a buck like Red Cloud was a matter of taking the top wean weight and top performing buckling from 2017 and pairing him with our homegrown top weight doe at a year and a half and that pairing produced this fine buck and his brother RDH Heimdall.  Blondie, an Isaiaih's Fire doe out of an AVG Ozark's Chance daughter,  kidded these big guys easily and did a great job. He and his brother weaned at 68 pounds each! Heimdall went to work for a dairy farm nearby and produced some hardy milkers!
RDH Kawliga, Red Cloud's sire, weighed 204 pounds at just over 11 months old making him the fastest growing buck we ever raised. RDH Blondie not only kidded super fine bucklings, but was the dam of the high selling doe at the 2021 Cream of the Crop sale RDH Way's Spotted Lady.

We were fortunate to be able to add RDH Red Cloud back to our breeding program in 2023 after spending four years in Mississippi filling a herd full of daughters until he worked himself out of a job!!
As he entered the breeding pen in 2023 he was pressing the scales at an impressive 286 pounds! 
It is our intent to retain his daughters for our foundation herd of the future as some of our does are gaining some years on them and will need replacing over the next three to four years. Those daughters will be great granddaughters of Isaiah and Indian Outlaw, allowing us to bring back sons and daughters of our original herdsires for years to come.
